Make the easy choice easier
A gentle field note on environment design, defaults, and why tiny preparations matter.
When a choice is repeated, setup matters. Leaving shoes near the door, washing fruit when you unpack it, or keeping a book by the bed reduces the number of decisions between intention and action.
Use the room as a reminder
Choose one visible cue for the habit you want to make available. Keep it modest. An environment that supports you should not feel like it is policing you.
